Details matter, it's worth waiting to get it right. | Steve Jobs Quote Poster by QuotesGalore | Steve jobs quotes, Job quotes, Good life quotes

The details matter. Slowly but surely as I continue to examine the things that I’m doing I am able to refine bit by bit and improve. I don’t always get it always right, but I am aware of what’s going on and with that I am able to conscious take into consideration what I got right/wrong and continue to make adjustments.

This is the process of life. The path to greater is one that takes time and effort and you simply have to be willing to put in the work. It’s easy to think that you’re doing the work, but really this stuff is all about over coming yourself, which at least for me, can be a tough animal to wrangle.

Today I was able to take the past notes and apply them and I was able to execute fairly well.

Tomorrow the goal is to improve on patience for the entries (even little bit counts) and continue to focus on playing the plays that I’m good at.

Last night I also decided to make the move from tradervue to tradersync and so far I am VERY impressed with the platform and its ease of use. I’m going to be very diligent to track as much as I can about the setup, the mistakes, and everything else that they have in the tool so that I can continue to refine. The days of “not wanting to add tags” and all that jazz is over. This is a business and I must treat it as such, and that comes with a certain level of professionalism that I must put forward in all regards.

Overall I’m pretty happy with this trade. I was hoping that I got my #1 entry signal up into the 3.40 level, but it never came, so patience came into play and I waited for the secondary setup. The goal was to get short on the 3.18push and I got a little ahead of myself on the entire by about .10 (which adds up), however the thesis was played out and it turned out to be a decent trade.

I was really looking for 2.50s, but you have to take what the market gives you. If I had time later in the afternoon I was interested in a pop back to 3 and a fail (which is offered), but I’m not free due to work, but just nice to know that the read was there.
